Senior Product Manager (SpaceTech)

Location: Munich, Germany
Package: €100,000 – €115,000 + 30 Days Paid Leave + Benefits (Deutschland Ticket, Flexible Work Hours, Team Events)

My client is looking for an experienced Senior Product Manager to lead the development and lifecycle of mobility products for the SpaceTech sector. This role bridges technical and commercial teams, driving product vision, strategy, and execution while ensuring exceptional customer experience. Working directly with the CTO, you will lead a team of engineers and work cross-functionally to deliver next-generation connectivity solutions.

The Opportunity

As part of a dynamic and forward-thinking team, you will shape the future of mobility connectivity by developing products that seamlessly integrate terrestrial and non-terrestrial networks. You will be at the forefront of next-generation satellite and 5G technology, leading the charge in eliminating network dead zones and enhancing global mobility solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary liaison between development teams and business stakeholders, ensuring alignment on goals and timelines.
  • Define and communicate a clear product vision, strategy, and roadmap, based on market research, customer insights, and internal expertise.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities and inform product direction.
  • Own and manage the product roadmap, defining detailed requirements and user stories while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Gather and prioritize customer and external stakeholder feedback to enhance product performance and usability.
  • Lead product development execution, supporting test phases and commercial market rollout.
  • Develop market forecasts and oversee successful product rollout, ensuring alignment with cost, schedule, and performance KPIs.
  • Collaborate with the commercial team to define key product benefits and translate customer needs into development solutions.
  • Provide technical leadership to a team of engineers, managing performance, career growth, and team dynamics.

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Product management experience in aerospace, automotive, or mobility sectors is prefered.
  • Proven experience managing full product lifecycle from concept to commercial rollout.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a tactical and strategic mindset.
  • Ability to engage with technical domains such as cybersecurity, AI, RF systems, cloud services, NTN/TN networks, and edge computing.
  • Hands-on experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies, Jira, Confluence, GitHub, and product development workflows.
  • Knowledge of underlying technology stacks, APIs, and system architectures.
  • Strong customer-focused leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage risk across product development and deployment.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, comfortable with fast-paced environments and ambiguity.
