The Opportunity

In this role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end integration, testing, and verification of spacecraft systems. You will collaborate with engineering, test, and operations teams to ensure mission success by executing system-level and environmental testing on satellite hardware. This is a 12-month contract, with the potential for extension.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead spacecraft integration and test (I&T) activities, supporting full spacecraft validation.
  • Develop and execute test plans, procedures, and schedules for system and module-level testing.
  • Perform thermal vacuum, EMI/EMC, RF payload, propulsion system, and environmental testing.
  • Operate and troubleshoot special test equipment (STE) and ground support equipment (GSE).
  • Support launch site processing, system-level testing, and day-of-launch operations.
  • Analyze and resolve test anomalies in collaboration with engineering teams.
  • Maintain detailed test documentation, reports, and compliance records.

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Hands-on experience with spacecraft integration, system testing, and validation.
  • Strong knowledge of satellite subsystems (Power, Attitude Control, Telemetry & Command, RF Payloads, etc.).
  • Familiarity with thermal vacuum testing, RF payload testing, EMI/EMC testing, and environmental testing.
  • Proficiency with test automation, scripting (Tcl/Tk), and spacecraft test software.
  • Experience working with DOORS, STK, and satellite modeling tools is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in high-pressure test environments.

Why Join Us?

  • Be part of a cutting-edge space program, contributing to mission-critical satellite development.
  • Work in a highly technical, hands-on environment with leading industry experts.
  • Competitive hourly rate with full-time contract stability.
  • Gain exposure to end-to-end satellite integration, testing, and launch operations.
