Are you a Mechanical Integration Engineer looking to join a rapidly growing series C clean energy manufacturer in a innovative and technically interesting role.

On offer is the opportunity to work on one of the first factory built nuclear microrecactor, that will revoltionsize the clean energy sector. The role will involve you working on a first of a kind project responsible for leading the packaging and integration of turbomachinery and electrical systems.

Join a team revolutionizing distributed clean energy through the development of a compact, factory-built nuclear microreactor. You’ll play a key role in the integration of power conversion systems that transform nuclear heat into abundant, zero-emissions electricity.

This position would suit a Mechanical Integration Engineer looking to technically progress in their career.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the integration strategy and packaging of powertrain and electrical systems to meet structural and safety requirements.
  • Facilitate collaboration and alignment between hardware engineering teams.
  • Create detailed installation drawings and perform GD&T analysis to ensure proper fit and function.
  • Promote standardized CAD methods and documentation practices.
  • Define and execute system integration verification through simulation, mockups, and hardware testing.

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
  • 2+ years of experience designing, building, or integrating mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Proficiency in CAD tools such as 3DX, CATIA, NX, or SolidWorks.
  • Experience with packaging high-voltage electrical systems in applications such as EVs, eVTOL, turbines, or reactors.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Desirable Skills

  • Strong mechanical fundamentals across a broad range of disciplines.
  • Experience integrating electrical systems into aerospace, EVs, turbines, or nuclear systems.
  • Familiarity with piping, instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), and interface control documents (ICDs).
  • Knowledge of rotating equipment, seal gas systems, and cooling loops.
