(Junior) Embedded Software Engineer – Full Time, Permanent | New Space | Toulouse, France

NewSpace Technical have partnered with a cutting-edge New Space company in Toulouse to hire an Embedded Software Engineer and contribute to the development of next-generation hardware and software solutions for space!

Your Role

As an Embedded Software Engineer, you will be involved in both hardware and software development for embedded systems. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to design, implement, and optimize software that directly interacts with physical equipment, ensuring high performance and reliability in challenging environments.

What We’re Looking For

• Hands-on experience with embedded systems-whether through personal or professional projects (e.g., building FPV drones, robotics, or other hardware-driven projects).
• Proficiency in low-level programming with languages like C and Rust-and a curiosity about how code interacts with hardware.
• Some experience or interest in FPGA programming is a plus.
• Familiarity with embedded Linux systems and related tools like Yocto or Buildroot is a plus.
