We are partnering with a rapidly growing company at the forefront of space propulsion technology. This company builds and ships hundreds of thrusters annually, deploying technology to space faster than any other in its class. They are seeking a Head of Propulsion / Projects, to lead their product delivery organization and ensure the successful delivery of all satellite propulsion customer contracts.

This company is accelerating the next generation of space users with scalable and sustainable propulsion systems for satellites. They are the fastest-growing supplier of green propulsion systems, offering turnkey solutions for satellite manoeuvring and deorbiting. They are also developing a spaceplane, a cutting-edge launch vehicle that combines rocket performance with aircraft-like reusability and economic efficiency.

Your Role:
As the Head of in the Space Propulsion Department, you will oversee all core functions required to transition from customer contracts through design, manufacture, and delivery of propulsion products. You will lead the Project Engineering, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing teams.

Responsibilities:
– Deliver on all SatDrive and CubeDrive customer contracts.
– Inspire and guide the Product Delivery team to foster a principled and high-performance work environment.
– Develop each team leader and assist managers in building high-performance teams.
– Collaborate with the R&D team to integrate new product designs and improve processes.
– Plan capacity with Sales to coordinate new contracts and increase production capacity.
– Report progress to the executive team.
– Identify and implement new and improved processes to increase production capacity, improve quality, and reduce costs.

Required Qualifications:
– Demonstrated experience bringing new products to market and scaling output rapidly.
– Proven track record of developing and managing high-performance teams and culture.
– Recognized for delivering exceptional service to both internal and external clients.
– Background in aerospace, engineering, or a related field.
– Pragmatic, results-driven mindset.
– Minimum of 8 years of experience in a relevant field.
– Demonstrated entrepreneurial approach, with a natural tendency to take ownership and overcome unexpected challenges.
